Mother nature has blessed the Town of West Bend with six beautiful lakes. The largest three of these lakes, Big Cedar, Little Cedar and Silver, each have Protection and Rehabilitation Districts (PRD). Gilbert Lake is connected to Big Cedar Lake and is thus part of that PRD. Big Cedar flows east to Little Cedar, which then empties to the southeast towards the Milwaukee River. Silver Lake flows north into Paradise Lake which in turn flows into Lucas Lake. Lucas Lake, bordered by Ridge Run County Park, empties into a stream that flows through the City of West Bend and into the Milwaukee River at Regner Park.
